As a Bartender, you will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Have an excellent understanding of classic cocktails, their recipes and history.
  • Mixes alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to guests’ requests
  • Have an understanding of food in general, ingredients and preparations to ensure the right drinks, cocktails and spirit can be recommended.
  • Knowledgeable of the preparation of a large number of classic cocktails and all standard long drinks.
  • Control stocks, produce efficient costing of cocktails and spirits as well as perform excellent recommendations to guests.
  • Collecting beverages from the storeroom
  • Cleans bar areas, prepare correct garnishes and mise-en-place
  • Maintains bar stock in accordance with established standards
  • Ensures security of beverage stock in the bar using key control procedures
  • Controls beverage consumption of guests and stops serving when necessary
  • Polishes glasses and respects all hygiene rules in serving beverages
  • Promote up-selling at all levels and by personal efforts through guests’ contacts
  • Ensure a flawless service to the highest standards and as required by the department and the hotel

As a Bartender, we expect from you:

  • A hotel & hospitality management diploma or degree is a plus
  • Previous experience in a luxury standalone restaurant
  • Knowledge of beverages and cocktail recipes
  • Be able to develop new recipes based on guest requests
  • Good communication skills
