Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a 30/60/90-day Master Production Schedule (MPS) based on DRP demand.
- Balance forecasted demand with capacity, including labor, equipment, and material availability.
- Document planning assumptions, capacity constraints, and loading logic.
- Conduct scenario planning for workforce, shift optimization, equipment allocation, and supplier capability.
- Collaborate with demand planners, material planners, and workshop managers for alignment.
- Monitor fill rates, capacity utilization, and material readiness to ensure execution feasibility.
- Provide schedule inputs into S&OP and DRP planning cycles.
- Escalate risks and recommend resource reallocation where necessary (e.g., headcount, outsourcing).
Skills:
- Strong capacity and scenario planning capabilities
- Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems (JDE, SAP, Oracle preferred)
- Analytical and data-driven decision-making
- Excellent cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management
- Structured and clear communication style
- Ability to work in fast-paced operational environments
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in production or service planning/scheduling
- Experience in DRP and S&OP environments
- APICS certification (CPIM or equivalent) preferred
- Proven track record of managing mid-term scheduling in manufacturing or service operations
