Kitchen Steward 

Job Summary:

The Steward is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen and service areas. This includes cleaning dishes, utensils, kitchen equipment, and assisting in overall kitchen sanitation to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and sanitize all kitchen equipment, utensils, pots, and pans.
  • Ensure all kitchen and back areas are kept clean, organized, and free from hazards.
  • Operate dishwashing machines and handle cleaning chemicals safely.
  • Collect and dispose of garbage, ensuring waste is segregated as per company policy.
  • Maintain cleanliness of floors, walls, and storage areas.
  • Refill cleaning supplies and support the kitchen team with daily operations.

Requirements:

  • Basic understanding of cleaning procedures and food safety.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physically fit to perform cleaning and lifting tasks.
  • Availability: Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
