Job Purpose

The Cash Keeper will handle and record all cash and POS transactions related to produce sales, farm shop, entry fees, guided tours, farm stays, and other tourism services. This role ensures accurate daily reconciliations and supports financial reporting

Key Responsibilities

• Handle all cash, card, and mobile payment transactions from farm produce sales, entry tickets, and other tourism-related services.
• Maintain accurate cash records and issue receipts for all transactions.
• Reconcile daily cash and sales reports.
• Prepare and submit daily and weekly cash flow reports to management.
• Monitor and control petty cash usage.
• Ensure the security and safe handling of all cash.
• Support stock and inventory tracking related to sales.
• Collaborate with the farm manager, store staff, and tourism team.

Requirements:

Ability to work independently and in a team, especially during peak visitor hours or events.

Proven experience in a cashier or cash keeper role (experience in agriculture or hospitality is an advantage).

Basic accounting and financial reporting knowledge.

Strong numerical and organizational skills.

High level of honesty, integrity, and responsibility.

Familiarity with POS systems and Excel is a plus.

Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
