A bartender mixes and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, manages the bar area, interacts with customers to create a welcoming atmosphere, processes payments, and ensures responsible alcohol service and adherence to safety regulations. Key responsibilities include drink preparation, customer service, inventory management, cash handling, and maintaining bar cleanliness.
