Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Helper to assist with stock handling, delivery support, and cleaning operations within our food and beverage facility. This role is essential to maintaining a safe, organized, and hygienic workplace while ensuring that kitchen, service, and storage areas remain well-stocked and clean.

Key Responsibilities:

Stock Handling & Support

• Assist in receiving, loading, and unloading food and beverage deliveries.
• Move supplies from storage to kitchen or service areas as needed.
• Organize and stock inventory in storerooms, refrigerators, and freezers.
• Ensure proper labeling, rotation (FIFO), and storage of products.
• Report damaged, expired, or missing stock items to the supervisor.

Cleaning & Sanitation

• Clean and sanitize workstations, kitchen floors, walls, storage shelves, and waste areas.
• Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment using manual or automatic dishwashers.
• Empty trash bins regularly and ensure proper waste disposal following hygiene protocols.
• Perform deep-cleaning tasks (e.g., fridges, storage rooms, delivery bays) as scheduled.
• Maintain cleanliness of storage and receiving areas.

Safety & Compliance

• Follow food safety and hygiene regulations (e.g., HACCP, local health codes).
• Use cleaning chemicals safely and according to instructions.
• Wear PPE (gloves, masks, aprons) as required by the role.
• Report any pest issues, unsafe conditions, or damaged equipment immediately.

Qualifications:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Understanding of basic cleaning chemicals and procedures.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment, including floor buffers and dishwashing machines.
• Attention to detail and strong work ethic.
• Physical stamina to perform tasks that require bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.

Work Environment:

Work is performed in a restaurant setting where cleanliness and safety are critical. Must be able to handle exposure to wet floors, hot surfaces, and cleaning chemicals.
