Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in sourcing, purchasing, and negotiating materials and services for civil construction projects in the UAE. The role requires strong vendor management skills, knowledge of building materials, and the ability to efficiently handle procurement processes using ERP systems to support project and cost control operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source and procure construction materials, equipment, and subcontractor services as per project requirements.
• Obtain and evaluate quotations, negotiate prices, and prepare purchase orders through the ERP system.
• Ensure timely delivery of materials to project sites according to schedules.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
• Verify material specifications and ensure compliance with project and company standards.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier databases, and cost tracking reports within the ERP.
• Coordinate with project, engineering, and accounts teams for procurement approvals and payments.
• Monitor inventory levels and forecast future material requirements.
• Support cost control efforts by identifying potential savings and optimizing purchasing strategies.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of UAE experience in procurement within the construction/building contracting industry.
• Strong knowledge of local suppliers, building materials, and subcontractors.
• Experience using ERP systems for procurement operations.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word) and documentation.
• Valid UAE driving license (preferred but not mandatory).

Education:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
