We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant with experience in real estate or property management to join our finance team. The role involves managing day‑to‑day accounting tasks, ensuring financial compliance, and supporting financial reporting and analysis in line with UAE regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain general ledger, prepare journal entries, and post transactions
  • Reconcile bank statements, intercompany accounts, and balance sheet items
  • Manage accounts receivable (rents, service charges) and accounts payable (vendors, maintenance)
  • Handle property‑related accounting: lease contracts, tenant deposits, prepaid/arrears, service charges
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
  • Support statutory audit, provide schedules and documentation
  • Ensure compliance with UAE VAT, accounting standards (IFRS / UAE GAAP), and internal controls
  • Liaise with internal departments (operations, sales, maintenance) for billing, collections, and cost allocation
  • Assist in implementation or use of accounting / ERP software

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 2–4 years of experience in accounting, preferably within real estate, property management, or related industries
  • Strong knowledge of UAE accounting standards, VAT, and audit processes
  • Experience with accounting / ERP software (e.g. QuickBooks, Tally, Zoho, Oracle)
  • Highly proficient in MS Excel (formulas, pivot tables, lookup)
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Attention to detail and a high level of integrity and confidentiality
