Roles & responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival, manage waitlists efficiently, and escort them to their tables, setting the tone for a positive dining experience.
  • Take accurate and timely food and beverage orders, utilizing POS systems and memorization skills to enhance order accuracy and speed.
  • Provide detailed menu knowledge, including ingredients, preparation methods, and daily specials, to assist guests in making informed choices.
  • Deliver food and beverages promptly and professionally, ensuring correct presentation and addressing any guest requests or concerns immediately.

Desired candidate profile

  • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred, demonstrating a foundational level of education.
  • Prior experience in the hospitality industry, such as a restaurant or cafe, showcasing familiarity with service standards.
  • Possession of a food handler’s certificate, indicating adherence to food safety regulations.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer-facing role, proving the ability to interact with the public.
