Job Purpose:

Geoseas looking for Store In-Charge is responsible for managing all warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, issuing, and controlling project materials, tools, and equipment. The role ensures that all inventory activities comply with company procedures and support efficient project operations

Key Responsibilities:

1. Material Management:

• Receive, inspect, and record all incoming materials, tools, and equipment.
• Ensure materials are stored properly, safely, and systematically.
• Verify quantities and specifications of received materials against purchase orders and delivery notes.
• Issue materials based on approved material requisitions.

2. Inventory Control:

• Maintain accurate stock records and update the inventory management system regularly.
• Conduct periodic physical stock checks and reconcile with system records.
• Monitor minimum stock levels and coordinate with procurement for replenishment.
• Prevent material loss, damage, or misuse through proper handling and tracking.

3. Documentation & Reporting:

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports.
• Maintain all store documents (GRN, MR, Issue Vouchers, Return Notes, etc.).
• Ensure all materials are traceable with proper labeling and coding.
• Coordinate with accounts and procurement for material verification and reconciliation.

4. Coordination & Communication:

• Liaise with procurement, accounts, and project teams for timely material supply.
• Coordinate with site engineers to ensure required materials are available as per project schedule.
• Supervise storekeepers, helpers, and other warehouse staff.

5. Compliance & Safety:

• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures for material handling.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized store environment.
• Follow health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Strong knowledge of material classification, storage systems, and inventory control.
• Proficient in MS Office and inventory software
• Good communication and reporting skills in English.
