The Restaurant Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, ensuring top-notch service, customer satisfaction, and a smooth-running operation. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and a passion for hospitality.
What you will do:
- Manage and supervise restaurant staff, ensuring high performance and adherence to standards of service.
- Oversee daily operations, including opening and closing duties, inventory management, and supply ordering.
- Train, develop, and motivate team members to maintain excellent customer service and operational efficiency.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including cleanliness and sanitation.
- Handle customer complaints or concerns in a professional and efficient manner to ensure satisfaction.
- Analyze financial reports, track expenses, and implement cost-control measures.
- Create and implement staff schedules to optimize labor costs while maintaining service levels.
- Assist in menu planning, special events, and promotional activities.
- Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, growth, and development.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of restaurant operations, including front-of-house and back-of-house.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle challenging situations with professionalism.
- Experience with POS systems, payroll, and inventory management.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is a plus but not required.
