About the Role:
We are seeking a driven and results-oriented Team Leader to lead our Customer Service/Sales Team for high-profile conferences and B2B events held in Australia. In this pivotal role, you will manage, motivate, and coach a team responsible for outbound calling to achieve and exceed revenue targets, while ensuring the highest level of performance, professionalism, and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, support, and manage a team of sales executives focused on promoting our events in Australia to senior-level professionals.
- Drive daily performance through coaching, pipeline reviews, and sales strategy implementation.
- Monitor KPIs, track progress, and report team performance to senior management.
- Collaborate with marketing, production, and operations teams to align sales efforts with campaign timelines and target audiences.
- Identify opportunities for growth, process improvement, and staff development.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of new sales team members.
- Handle key client interactions when necessary and support team members with complex deals or escalations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in delegate/ticket sales or B2B inside sales, ideally within conferences, events, or media preferred
- Previous experience leading or supervising a sales team.
- Strong understanding of consultative selling techniques and the full sales cycle.
- Excellent leadership, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
- Target-driven, organized, and highly motivated by results.
- Strong CRM and reporting skills.
