Key Roles & Responsibilities

  • Assist in setting up ship chandler business in UAE in collaboration with Management.
  • Generate Ship Chandlering business in UAE from Shipping Agencies, Shipping companies, Marine, Offshore, Oil and Gas industries, Ship Chandlers in UAE, GCC Countries.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Identify the leads, potential clients and develop business opportunities.
  • Develop expertise in ship chandlery products such as marine equipment, provision supplies, and spare parts.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key clients in relevant business sectors.
  • Achieve Sales Targets through regular / planned visits to customers and prospects.
  • Devise and implement effective marketing strategies to increase brand visibility and market share.
  • Collaborate with sales Team to drive business growth.
  • Respond timely to all inquiries and participate in related tenders.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements in line with Milaha’s policy.
  • Ensure a stable source of ship chandelling items and maintain stock for timely delivery.
  • Ensure customers are satisfied with product performance and service.
  • Prepare and submit regular sales reports outlining performance, market trends to Supervisor.
  • Maintain and update Database of leads, client visits and prospects regularly.
  • Analyse Sales data to identify areas for improvement and growth opportunities.

Education & Professional Qualification:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or any relevant field.
Master’s Degree in Business Management is preferred.
Professional Experience:
3 to 5 years of experience in Ship Chandelling Sales & Trading. Technical knowledge
of items. Experience in Procurement will be an added advantage.
Geographic Experience:

  • United Arab Emirates / GCC
  • UAE Driving License

Computer Skills:
MS Office package and working in Oracle is preferred
Language Skills:
Proficienty in English is must.
Market/Industry/Functional Knowledge:

  • Market knowledge is vital.
  • Excellent Time Management, Industry knowledge is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of Customer Service best practices
