Full job description

The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment within the medical center. This role ensures that all areas—including patient rooms, treatment areas, restrooms, and offices—are properly cleaned and sanitized according to health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and sanitize all areas of the medical center, including floors, surfaces, furniture, restrooms, and treatment rooms.
  • Disinfect frequently touched surfaces to maintain infection control standards.
  • Collect and dispose of medical and general waste safely and appropriately.
  • Refill and replace supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet tissue.
  • Ensure cleaning equipment and materials are properly used, maintained, and stored.
  • Report any maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor immediately.
  • Follow all infection control and safety policies, including the use of PPE (personal protective equipment).
  • Support the center team during inspections and audits.
  • Maintain confidentiality and respect patients’ privacy at all times.
