Guest assistance and hospitality
- Assist guests with luggage upon arrival and departure.
- Greet guests professionally and escort them to their rooms.
- Explain room amenities and how to use hotel facilities like the air conditioning, TV, and telephone.
- Provide guests with information about the hotel and local attractions.
Deliveries and errands
- Deliver newspapers, messages and packages to guest rooms.
- Run errands for guests both on and off hotel property.
- Assist with valet parking and handling car keys securely if needed.
Maintenance and organization
- Maintain a clean and organized bell desk and lobby area.
- Report any maintenance issues in guest rooms to the relevant department.
- Ensure the cleanliness of company vehicles, such as vans.
Other duties
- Coordinate with other hotel departments, like the front desk and concierge, to ensure seamless service.
- Manage short-term baggage storage.
- Perform other tasks assigned by management.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
