Job Overview

As a Call Center Agent, you will be the first point of contact for patients and their families seeking medical assistance. You will play a crucial role in ensuring a seamless patient experience by efficiently managing calls, booking appointments, and providing information about our services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer Incoming Calls: Respond promptly and professionally to all incoming calls from patients, families, and partner organizations.
  • Appointment Scheduling: Book, reschedule, and cancel doctor visits using our appointment management system.
  • Patient Triage: Collect relevant information about patient symptoms and needs to facilitate appropriate and timely care.
  • Customer Support: Provide clear, compassionate information about our services, pricing, and procedures.
  • Emergency Handling: Recognize urgent medical situations and escalate to the appropriate medical personnel or emergency services as per protocol.
  • Data Entry: Accurately record patient details and interaction notes in the system.
  • Follow-up Calls: Conduct follow-up calls to ensure patient satisfaction and address any additional needs.
  • Multilingual Communication: Communicate effectively with patients from diverse backgrounds; proficiency in English is required, and knowledge of other languages (such as Arabic, Hindi, or Urdu) is a plus.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the medical and logistics teams to coordinate timely doctor dispatch and follow-up care.

Requirements

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; diploma/degree in healthcare or customer service is an advantage.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a call center, healthcare, or customer service environment preferred.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication. Ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in using computers, call center software, and appointment scheduling systems.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to think quickly and make sound decisions under pressure.
