Job Summary:
We are looking for dedicated, hard-working, and team-oriented Kitchen Crew Members to join our restaurant team. As a Kitchen Crew Member, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of food while maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen. You will play a key role in ensuring our guests receive high-quality meals in a timely and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in basic food preparation tasks (chopping, peeling, portioning, etc.)
- Cook and assemble dishes according to standardized recipes and instructions
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen, including equipment and workstations
- Ensure proper food storage and labeling in compliance with food safety standards
- Assist with receiving and storing deliveries
- Follow health and safety guidelines (HACCP standards)
- Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen tools as required
- Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service during busy hours
- Support other team members and communicate effectively to achieve kitchen goals
Qualifications & Skills:
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is a plus (but not required)
- Basic knowledge of food safety and kitchen operations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Comfortable lifting up to 25–30 lbs
- Ability to work in hot and busy kitchen environments
